British Red Cross volunteers help thousands of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants every year enabling people to draw upon their own strengths to withstand crisis and rebuild their lives

We are looking for volunteers with a range of skills to help the Red Cross support refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants in many ways, from giving advice on how people can access services to helping out with our activity projects or lending a hand at our drop in centres to give emergency support.

Our catering volunteers will support with preparing hot meals for service users at the hub.

We'd like you to:

Live within 30 minutes of Ashton-under-Lyne Volunteer on Thursdays 9:30am-2:30pm Be able to volunteer for 12 months

We would be particularly interested to hear from you if you have experience of being a refugee or asylum seeker.
