Adult Education Volunteer (Middlesbrough)

We are looking for volunteers who are positive about educating adults, to lead workshops. Our workshops encourage kind and inclusive communities who can cope with change and recover from adversity. This may include leading workshops on tackling loneliness, building confidence and the willingness to help in a first aid emergency.

We would like you to volunteer:

• One morning or one afternoon a week

• Mostly Monday to Friday - 9am and 5pm

• For at least 9 months

Ideally you’ll be within 1 hours travel of the workshop location. You’ll need to carry your learning materials with you.

If you have previous experience that’s great, but we can give full training and support if you are passionate about this and want to get involved.

We take an individual approach to ensuring your safety. We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment. We will also have a conversation with you to discuss any restrictions that may still be in place in your region and identify any adjustments you may need.
