Health and Care A&E Volunteer (Glangwili Hospital Emergency Department, Carmarthen)

You will be providing emotional support to adult patients, their relatives and NHS staff in the A&E department and in queuing ambulances. This role involves volunteering in a busy A&E department.

We would like you to:-

• Commit to a minimum of 6 hours at a time; ideally once a week but will consider once a fortnight
• 10am-8pm Monday-Sunday, including bank holidays
• Driving is preferable but not essential. If you drive, you must have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK
• Be able to work in a pressurised environment (A&E)
• Be able to be on your feet throughout the shift
