Health and Care A&E Volunteer (Morriston Hospital, Swansea)

You will be providing emotional support to adult patients, their relatives and NHS staff in the A&E department and in queuing ambulances. This role involves volunteering in a busy A&E department.

We would like you to:-

• Commit to a minimum of 6 hours at a time; ideally once a week but will consider once a fortnight 10 am-6pm Monday- Friday
• Be able to work in a pressurised environment (A&E)
• Be able to be on your feet throughout the shift
• Due to the nature of this role, applicants must undergo an Enhanced with Adults barred Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
