International Youth Volunteer - Portugal

Do you live in Wales and want to gain valuable skills, have new experiences, and support vulnerable people?

We are offering 3 young people aged 18-25 the opportunity to volunteer for up to 10 months with the Portuguese Red Cross in Faro, Portugal. The programme will run from January 2024 – October 2024.

The volunteers will be working in a range of projects, which will give them the chance to explore the different kinds of social action that the Portuguese Red Cross undertake in Faro.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in social action projects and find out what you are interested in. For more details on the role and the projects available, have a look at the role description. The main thing we want to see is your motivation for this placement!

Please note that only young people (aged 18-25) based in Wales can apply for this role. Interviews with shortlisted candidates will take place on zoom.

Ydych chi’n byw yng Nghymru ac eisiau ennill sgiliau gwerthfawr, cael profiadau newydd, a chefnogi pobl agored i niwed? Rydym yn cynnig cyfle i 3 o bobl ifanc 18-25 oed wirfoddoli am hyd at 10 mis gyda’r Groes Goch yn Faro, Portiwgal. Bydd y rhaglen yn cael ei chynnal rhwng mis Ionawr 2024 a mis Hydref 2024. Bydd y gwirfoddolwyr yn gweithio mewn amrywiaeth o brosiectau, a fydd yn rhoi cyfle iddynt archwilio’r gwahanol fathau o gamau gweithredu cymdeithasol y mae Groes Goch Portiwgal yn eu cymryd yn Faro. Mae’r rhain yn amrywio o hyrwyddo cynhwysiant cymdeithasol pobl agored i niwed i weithio yn yr adran ieuenctid. Dyma gyfle gwych i gymryd rhan mewn prosiectau gweithredu cymdeithasol a chael gwybod beth sydd o ddiddordeb i chi.
