Fundraising bucket shaker volunteer (Wembley Stadium 18th & 19th May 2024)

Opportunity image

Do you have a bucket load of enthusiasm, a few hours to spare and a desire to raise money for people in crisis? If so, this opportunity is for you!

Join us at Wembley Stadium in advance of the League One and League Two Play-Off finals on 18th and 19th May 2024. Arrival at 12.30pm for 3pm kick-off. (Please note you do not need to be available for both matches in order to apply - you will be able to pick which match you collect at, although you are welcome to collect at both!)

We have a limited number of tickets to watch the football match after collecting, so please apply early if you'd like to secure one of these.

The use of own smartphone (with Apple updated to iOS 16.4) to take contactless payments is helpful but not required.

Get ready to make a difference. Just a couple of hours shaking a bucket will help raise money to enable the Red Cross to provide the support necessary to those in crisis in the UK and across the world – whether that is food, clothing, first aid, cash, healthcare, or emotional support.

PLEASE NOTE: this specific event will be available to over 18's only.

If you have any questions, please contact bucketshake@redcross.org.uk

Diversity is something we celebrate. We want you to be able to bring your authentic self to the Red Cross and feel that you belong.

We want to create an inclusive environment, and promote and spread the power of kindness.

As part of creating an inclusive space we have an expenses policy that prioritises volunteers not being out of pocket for expenses linked to your role. If up front costs are difficult, you can speak to your volunteering manager about this to find alternatives.

We welcome refugees, asylum seekers and others currently in the UK to volunteer with us.

We want volunteering to be accessible to everyone.

Health and Safety Statement

We take an individual approach to ensuring your safety.

We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment and will also have a conversation with you to discuss and identify any adjustments you may need.
